Dyfed-Powys Police have stated that they continue to investigate an incident at a Pembrokeshire school this week, where it is alleged that a pupil used threatening behaviour.

Reports have suggested that other pupils of Ysgol Harri Tudur in Pembroke had to be retained inside the cafeteria area whilst staff and officers dealt with the incident which occurred during the school lunch break on Tuesday (December 6).

It is alleged that a pupil was in possession of a knife during school hours.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to Ysgol Harri Tudur at 1.10pm after an incident on the premises. “Officers are investigating with enquiries ongoing.”

A spokesperson for Pembrokeshire County Council commented: “There was an incident at break time today at Ysgol Harri Tudur in Pembroke which involved threatening behaviour from a learner.

“The incident was addressed by the prompt and professional actions of staff.

“Details of the incident are currently being investigated and the police have been informed. The learner has been removed from the school site.”
