Police in Carmarthenshire are investigating an allegation of assault after a young child was pushed off their pushbike by a man.

The incident occurred in what is known locally as the old Davies Estate, Johnstown, Carmarthen.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police: said: “A report was received that sometime between 5.15 and 5.30 pm on Saturday, October 14, a young child was pushed off their pushbike, by a man, while they were cycling from the footpath onto Heol Drindod, near the post box.

“The child received minor injuries.

“The man is described as a white male, tall with black curly hair and wearing a black Adidas hooded top. He left in what is described as a black van.”
