Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating after the body of a man was found on a beach by Tenby.

The body was discovered on Remembrance Sunday, with a multi-agency operation launched involving the RNLI and a coastguard helicopter after the alarm was raised around lunch time.

Police have stated that the death was not being treated as suspicious and that the man’s next of kin had been identified.

“Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found on a beach near Penally, Tenby on Sunday, November 12,” said a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police.

“Next of kin have been identified. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
