Dyfed-Powys Police officers are continuing enquiries into reports of a man in possession of a knife in the Wisemans Bridge area of Pembrokeshire on Wednesday afternoon.

Thorough searches took place during the evening and into the night, and there is a heightened police presence in the area as patrols are continue this morning. Officers are working to recover items, and enquiries are underway with another force following information received.

“Nobody was injured, but officers are keen to find and detain the man swiftly in order to minimise any risk to anyone in the area,” said a police spokesperson.

“The man is described as black, of large build and has dreadlocks, and may be accompanied by a blonde woman with a terrier type dog.

Please do not approach them, but report any sightings to police by calling 101,” they added.
