Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed that a body has been recovered following a major rescue operation around the Tenby area on Friday (August 1).
Police were called to the beach near Manorbier at around 11am after concerns were raised for a person’s welfare.
Land and sea rescue services were involved in the search throughout the afternoon, with Tenby RNLI’s all-weather and inshore lifeboats launched, along with the coastguard helicopter.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated: “Sadly, a body of a man was found during the search.”
