Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed that the body of a missing man was found in Saundersfoot during the early hours of Monday (September 11) morning, following an extensive search by rescue services.

Police along with coastguards, and the rescue helicopter, were were rapidly mobilised following reports of a missing forty-three-year-old male in the Saundersfoot vicinity late on Sunday night.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated: “Emergency services were rapidly mobilised following reports of a missing individual in the Saundersfoot region late on Sunday night.

“Regrettably, by approximately 4 am on Monday, coastguard search units located the body of the man. We have since reached out and informed his immediate family.”
