Police were called to Kilgetty Lane, at 5.15 pm on Wednesday (February 13), following concerns for the welfare of a man on a bridge above the A477 road.

“The man engaged with specially trained officers and was taken to hospital,” said a police spokesperson.

The A477 was closed from Kilgetty roundabout to Red Roses in both directions as a safety precaution whilst the incident was ongoing and reopened at 8.30 pm
