Police are investigating an allegation of assault which occurred at approximately 3 pm on Saturday in the play park at Broadmoor. A 33-year-old male was walking his dog when he was struck to the head causing minor injuries.

Anyone who was in the park, or in the vicinity, between 2.30 and 3.15 pm on Saturday is asked to contact police as they may have information which could help the investigation.
