Police are investigating an allegation of attempted robbery that occurred in Castle Street, Pembroke Dock at approximately 5:14am this morning (Tuesday, August 18).

A man has sustained injuries (not believed to be life threatening) following an alleged assault by an unknown male on the junction of Castle Street and Bentlas Terrace.

The suspect reportedly attacked and attempted to take the victims money, before fleeing the scene shirtless.

A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “Please could residents and businesses check their CCTV/ Ring doorbells etc for activity during this time.”
