Reports of multiple youngsters risking their lives in the water at Pembroke Dock, saw members of the local RNLI lifeboat crew and police race into action.

On the evening of Wednesday, June 26, Angle RNLI diverted from exercise to reports of multiple children in the water.

At around 7.05pm, whilst afloat on exercise in the Llanion area, the lifeboat crew were diverted to investigate a report from the police of youngsters putting themselves in danger in the water at Hobbs Point.

The lifeboat was soon on scene and found that the children had exited the water and were being escorted from the area by police officers.

With no further assistance required the crew continued with their planned exercise.
