Police in Pembrokeshire have continued to clampdown on misuse of E-scooters across towns and communities around the county this month.
On Saturday, October 11, the Pembroke Dock and Pembroke neighbourhood policing team shared on Facebook: “PC 823 has been actively out in Main Street Pembroke over the weekend seizing E-scooters.
“Remember E-Scooters are classed as a motor vehicle under the Road Traffic Act - which means the rules that apply to motor vehicles, also apply to E-Scooters including the need to have a license, insurance and tax.”
In recent months, masked e-bike riders plaguing the area have given cause for concern to the community, with police conducting an operation which saw officers tackling the increasing issue of e-bikes being ridden dangerously and causing anti-social behaviour.
