A Pembroke Dock man has been fined in court after admitting drugs possession charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Daniel James Watts, of Munro Court, pleaded guilty to two separate charges of cannabis possession when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard Jones told magistrates that on March 31, police searched the defendant’s property under a search warrant, and found a bag containing 3 grammes of cannabis in the dining room.
“The charges speak for themselves. The other charge came earlier in the month on March 4, when police officers spoke to Mr. Watts on an unrelated matter, and he told them that he had a ‘reefer’ in his trouser pocker,” said Mr. Pritchard Jones.
Magistrates fined Mr. Watts a total of £80 for the two offences and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
A destruction order was also passed for the drugs.
