A thirty-six-year-old man from Pembroke Dock has appeared in court charged with an incident in the town last Tuesday.
Police have been investigating an allegation of attempted robbery that occurred in Castle Street, Pembroke Dock at around 5.14am on Tuesday, August 18.
A man sustained injuries following an alleged assault by a shirtless male on the junction of Castle Street and Bentlass Terrace.
Now, thirty-six-year-old Christopher Owen Rees, of Pembroke Dock, has been charged with Section 18 GBH and attempted robbery in connection with this investigation.
He appeared at Swansea Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, August 22, and is due to attend Swansea Crown Court on Monday, September 21.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated ahead of the weekend: “We are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation, however, we would continue to ask residents and businesses check their CCTV/ Ring doorbells etc for activity during this time.”
