Police investigations continuesinto an allegation of attempted robbery that occurred in Castle Street, Pembroke Dock at around 5.14am on Tuesday, August 18.

A man sustained injuries following an alleged assault by a shirtless male on the junction of Castle Street and Bentlass Terrace. His condition is now described as critical but stable.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated: “A 36-year-old man from Pembroke Dock has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and assault.

“We are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation, however, we would continue to ask residents and businesses check their CCTV/ Ring doorbells etc for activity during this time.”
