A Pembroke Dock man who cut his own throat in court this morning has been rushed to hospital by Air Ambulance.
Paramedics rushed to Haverfordwest Magistrates Court shortly after 10 am, after the thirty-three-year-old defendant Lukasz Robert Pawlowski, of Bush Street, who was appearing for a hearing, cut his own throat in the dock.
Two crews in emergency ambulances arrived at the scene with the Wales AIr Ambulance arriving shortly afterwards to convey the defendant to Morriston Hospital
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Officers attended and found an injured man at the scene, who was receiving treatment by paramedics.
“He has been conveyed to Morriston Hospital by air ambulance. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time. The court has been closed in order for inquiries to take place.
Mr. Pawlowski was appearing for sentence after pleading guilty at a previous hearing to sexual assault on a female in Pembroke Dock, last year.
