A Milford man has been fined in court after admitting possessing cannabis.
Twenty-two-year-old Gareth John George Lee, of Cherry Tree Close, Mount Estate, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates court on Tuesday, to plead guilty to a charge of possessing 17.95 grams of herbal cannabis, on February 10, in Milford Haven.
Prosecutor Sian Vaughan told the court that police officers executed a search warrant of the property and the cannabis, with a street value of £175, was found at Mr. Lee’s home.
The court heard how the defendant was given a conditional discharge for a similar matter in 2014.
Mr. Lee’s solicitor told the court that his client suffered with severe mental health problems and at the time of his arrest had not been taking his medication for ADHD and had returned to using cannabis.
Magistrates fined Mr. Lee £80 for the offence and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
