A Milford man accused of supplying cocaine is set to appear at Swansea Crown Court next month.

Thirty-three-year-old Ronnie James, of Prioryville, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead guilty to a charge of being concerned in the supplying of a quantity of cocaine in Milford Haven on August 22.

Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told magistrates that the allegation was that the accused had played a ‘lesser role’ in the case, after police had executed a search warrant at the address of another male in Milford.

He explained that statutory guidelines meant that it was beyond the powers of the magistrates court to deal with the matter, and the case was sent to Swansea Crown Court, with Mr. James who was released on unconditional bail told that a further hearing would take place on October 1.
