Police have arrested a man this morning (August 1) in the Kilgetty area, on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of a firearm with intent to cause harm.

Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police acted shortly after 9am.

“We have executed a warrant at a house in Kilgetty this morning. Officers attended Lyndhurst Avenue, Broadmoor, at approximately 9.15am,” said a police spokesperson.

“A thirty-eight-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of a firearm with intent to cause harm and remains in custody.

“A high police presence remains in the area and officers are available to address any community concerns should anyone wish to speak to them.

“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this matter,” they added.
