Tenby’s RNLI inshore lifeboat, the Georgina Taylor, launched at 4.50 pm on Wednesday after a report from a member of the public that a dog was possibly in a distressed state and cut off by the tide near Amroth.

Once on scene, the volunteer crew did a shoreline search from Amroth to Wiseman’s Bridge, but with nothing found and no more reports of a distressed dog, the lifeboat was stood down by Milford Haven Coastguard, arriving back at station at 5.40 pm.
