Tenby and Saundersfoot First Responders are looking for sponsors/sponsorship to hold the charity’s collection tins in their stores, with the funds raised being used to purchase new and up-to-date medical equipment, as well as public access defibrillators to place around Tenby and Saundersfoot and possibly a scheme car.

The team relies on generous public donations to stay active, with all donations being put back into the team and the community to expand areas that they cover and to provide communities with the service they deserve.

The team is made up of volunteers who respond on behalf of the Welsh Ambulance Service to life-threatening 999 calls. On arrival, the team gives lifesaving treatment and care until the ambulance arrives.

On average, the team is mobilised two to three times daily to 999 calls.

They are also looking for a kind individual to build a website for the scheme, so they can make the community more aware of their presence and make it easier for members of the public to make online donations.

The First Responders can be contacted by telephone on 07875751866 or 07581490715, or email [email protected]
