A Pembroke Dock man has been fined in court after being found in possession of 17.3 grams of cannabis.
Twenty-nine-year-old Ritchie John Coleman, of Castle Street, Pennar, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead guilty to the charge.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard -Jones told magistrates how police executed a search warrant at the address of the defendant on June 30, and recovered 16.1 grams of the drug in 12 individual sealed packets, and a further 1.2 grams from a bin.
Mr. Pritchard-Jones explained that the defendant had previous convictions for drugs on record, the most recent in 2011.
Magistrates fined Mr. Coleman £80 for the offence and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
“You were caught with the cannabis in your possession - it’s nice to have seen you since 2011 until now - and it would be nice if we didn’t see you again!” chief magistrate David Simpson told the defendant.
