The theft of a carton of milk worth a pound has cost a Kilgetty man over £150 in fines and costs after he admitted the charge in court this week.
Thirty-five-year-old John Paul Adderley, of Ryelands Lane, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead guilty to stealing a carton of milk valued at a £1 from the Poundland store in Haverfordwest, on August 30.
Magistrates fined Mr. Adderley £40 for the offence and ordered him to pay compensation of a £1 to the Poundland store.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
