Pembrokeshire County Council has emphasised that it does not use QR codes for payment, after receiving reports of scam QR codes being placed on car park signage.

Anyone who finds a QR code on Council car parking signage should not scan it. Instead, report it to the Council as soon as possible via 01437 764551 or [email protected]

Pembrokeshire County Council uses PayByPhone as a mobile payment option in its car parks and encourages customers to download the genuine PayByPhone app from the appropriate app store for their mobile phone.
