Angle RNLI’s all weather lifeboat was alerted on Tuesday night, after a report of a possible sighting of a person in the water off Hobbs Point, Pembroke Dock.

The Tamar class lifeboat Mark Mason was launched at 9.24 pm and reached the scene in 18 minutes.

The area from Hobbs Point up river to Jenkins Point, was searched thoroughly with nothing untoward found.

At 10.44 pm, the lifeboat was released to return to her station, where she was rehoused at 11.08 pm.
