Angle RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was alerted on Wednesday night last week after a report of a kayak drifting off Musselwick Point, near Dale, in the Milford Haven Waterway.

The D-class lifeboat SuperG II was launched at 10.43 pm and reached the scene in six minutes. It was found that the kayak was at anchor and a nearby fishing boat confirmed that it had been used as the vessel’s tender.

With no assistance required, the lifeboat was released to return to her station, where she was rehoused at 11.18 pm.
