Tomorrow (Saturday) is the 90th birthday of 3rd Tenby Brownies.

Their first meeting was held in the Methodist Church, Warren Street, and they later moved to Rock House, St. Julian Street, then to the Belgrave Hotel, holding their meetings in the basement, before moving to their current location at the Scout and Guide Hall in Warren Street (which, co-incidently, is next door to the site of the original meeting place!).

3rd Tenby Brownies are very proud of the fact that they have been Guiding continuously for 90 years.

Although it was not always possible to meet during the war years, the Brownies continued to 'lend-a-hand' by carrying out various tasks such as collecting jam jars.

Despite the changes over the years, the Brownies' ethos remains the same today of fun, friendship and helping to make a positive difference to their lives and those of others in their community.

3rd Tenby Brownies will be joining 4th Tenby Guides for a celebration birthday party tomorrow (Saturday).
