After a busy autumn term at Castle School, 29 pupils from five year groups and five staff set off for La Thuile in Italy.
Working with Interski, organisers took pupils on a fabulous skiing experience to one of the highest areas in the Alps on the French/Italian border.
In groups relevant to their ability, every one of the group progressed, including several non-skiers who could parallel ski by the end of the trip.
There was plenty of social activities each evening, including pizza night, ice-cream night and fancy dress disco - which saw Castle School pupils excelling themselves on the dance floor!
Trip organiser, Rebecca Algieri remarked: "Pupils absolutely excelled themselves. I was so proud of their efforts, achievements, attitude and behaviour. It was a superb experience and I look forward to organising the next one."
On their return, several parents have commented on the impact this trip has had on their child, many of them stating they seem much more independent, confident and have gained some excellent life experiences.
