This year's annual Open Week at Tenby Golf Club got off to a lively start on Saturday, with a captain's reception in the recently refurbished clubhouse lounges.
Visitors from golf clubs throughout the UK were welcomed to the town by Clr. Julie Evans, Mayor of Tenby, and to the club by captain, John Stenson.
Following the formal welcomes, club secretary David Hancock outlined the details of the full week of golf and entertainment which lay ahead.
A lively evening ensued, with many regular competitors enjoying the opportunity to mix with old friends and a number of first timers experiencing the club facilities for the first time.
The ambience was enhanced by background music provided by talented young local harpist Isabelle Harries.
