The Flying Start programme has been celebrating 10 years in Pembrokeshire with teddy bears picnics across the county, attended by parents/carers and children. This included craft activities, treasure hunts and songs.
Flying Start is a Welsh Government programme targeted at families and children under the age of four living in some of Wales’ most disadvantaged areas.
Flying Start provides quality, part-time childcare free of charge to two to three-year-olds, alongside an enhanced health visiting programme, access to parenting programmes and support for speech and language and communication.
