There were special birthday celebrations for popular Tenby resident Elwyn Bowen on Tuesday when he celebrated his 100th birthday.

Affectionately regarded as their 'unofficial ambassador', staff at Sainsbury's threw a tea party in his honour for family and friends.

Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, also attended and presented Mr. Bowen with a commemorative Tenby Town Council scroll, while he was also delighted to show everyone the birthday card received from HM The Queen.
