A local lady who celebrated her 100th birthday recently was congratulated on reaching the magic age of 100 by the Mayor of Pembroke Dock.

Mayor, Peter Kraus called with Mrs. Tydfil Morgan to congratulate her on the special birthday.

"We had a long conversation about her life and also the changes she has seen during the last 100 years," said Mayor, Clr. Kraus.

"She was remarkable and it was such a pleasure to be with her and the family, some who came from as far away as America.

"I would like to wish her many more years of health and happiness and look forward to meeting her again in years to come," he added.

Mrs. Morgan also received a special 100th birthday card from the Queen.
