Mr. S. James , Miss C. Prout

Slebech Park, near Haverfordwest, was the beautiful setting for the recent wedding of Mr. Steven James and Miss Clare Prout.
The groom, a structural engineer, is the son of Viv and Doreen James, of Burry Port, while the bride, who works within the pharmaceutical industry, is the eldest daughter of Mike and Jan Prout, of Penally.
Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory vintage lace dress with a matching full-length trailing veil. She carried a bouquet of antique roses.
Matron-of-honour was Emma Beckinsale (bride’s sister), who wore a floor-length chiffon dress in vintage heather; flowers were worn as a wrist corsage.
Best man was Paul Mackie (groom’s close friend), while the ushers were Gareth Bicknell, Geraint Lodwig, Richard Hughes (friends) and James Beckinsale (bride’s brother-in-law).
Elan Haf (harpist) entertained the guests prior to and during the ceremony.
Evening celebrations continued at the Slebech Park, with music played by the band Flood, of Burry Port.
Flower arrangements/displays for the day were by Rachel Treadaway-Williams (bride’s close friend), with the help of Julie Williams.
The happy couple honeymooned in the Maldives and have made their home in Cardiff.
