The annual general meeting of the Narberth and District Pool League takes place this year on Thursday, August 26, at Narberth RAOB.
The South Pembs County Pool team, represented by players of the Narberth League, seem to have turned their season around.
Tenby and County Club (sponsored by LG Leisure and Get Stuffed Pizza Co) recently played in Pembrokeshire snooker’s Knockout Cup final against the Manchester Club (five singles with aggregate scores to count).
Last Sunday saw the annual charity darts singles knockout take place at the Narberth RFC.

Carl Morris, who is profoundly deaf and has a hearing dog called Ingle, said: “Before I had Ingle, life wasn’t easy, especially as a professional pool player since I was always surrounded by groups of people, and I found it difficult.

There was a disappointing turnout of only 10 entries for the Pat Dart Three-a-Side Shield, played for at the Parsonage Inn, St Florence, on Friday, May 15.

There were 20 entries for the Mal Thomas Singles Cup competition, which was played on two boards at the Cross Inn, Penally.
Last Friday saw the curtain come down on the season with the finals knockout taking place at the RFC.
Last Sunday, saw the annual event take place with this year’s chosen charity being Ty-Hafan children’s hospital.

The Angel looked to the heavens and their prayers were answered, and so it came to be as the Narberth side managed to squeeze in their re-arranged match at home to the Farmers, chalking up a 9-0 win.

Congratulations to Kilgetty RAOB A who became A League champions last week after their 7-2 win at the Hean.
The big match in the A League saw the Dragon A doing the double over Kilgetty RAOB A with a close 5-4 win, just about deserving the match after taking a 4-1 lead.
