The Grandma Cup: Played on August 20, only seven hardy competitors took part due to the very wet and windy conditions.
Club Championship
Trefloyne held their annual club championship over the Bank Holiday weekend and, with entrants being higher than last year, it was always going to be a close fought competition.
The last time Steve ‘Araf’ Jones played at Tawe Vale, only some few weeks ago, he, with the help of Wyn ‘2 Thumbs’ Hopkins, scooped first prize in their Seniors Open.

Last Thursday, Trefloyne played host to Glyn Abbey Seniors.
During the week beginning August 16, Tenby Golf Club was delighted to welcome the cream of ladies’ European amateur golfers to the British Ladies’ Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
As October 1, 2010, approaches at lightning speed, that moment when the Ryder Cp comes to Wales for the first time in the history of the challenge, the team at Trefloyne are ready and waiting to take on the might of the Americans, with a huge presence at the event.

Tawe Vale Seniors
Open
Wyn Hopkins and Steve Jones, two (relatively young!) Seniors from Trefloyne recently won the Tawe Vale Seniors Open in Clydach.
Tenby Golf Club has proved a big hit in America.
LADIES’ NEWS
On Tuesday, July 6, we held a stableford competition for the lady members and can I take this opportunity to apologise to Linda Kromrei, whom I (Michelle Richards) managed to pip into first place on countback.
Friday, July 9, and many of the Tenby ladies were playing in the Cardigan Open, but there were still plenty signed up for the Friday Friendly Foursomes.
The match played on Thursday, June 24, was at Trefloyne between the hosts and their very near and feared neighbours from Tenby.
