Tenby United’s season got off to a disappointing start in Division For West, with an away defeat to Amman United, but events at Cwmamman Park were overshadowed by a nasty injury for the Seasiders’ winger Barry John, who suffered a fractured leg and had to be taken by air ambulance to hospital.

The midweek competition held on Tuesday, August 17, saw the ladies compete in a captain versus vice-captain stableford.

The Karate Union of Wales held another successful grading/assessment course in Pembrokeshire on July 4 under the guidance of chief instructor Mike O’Brien - 8th dan.

On Sunday, TROTs Running Club ran their annual Dambusters Race at Llysyfran Reservoir.
It was the eighth, annual, six-a-side football tournament held at the Kingsmoor Sports field and there was not a Sumo Warrior in sight.

Although Cresselly and Carew drew their respective matches on Saturday, Carew have taken over from Cresselly at the top of the table after getting much the better of their drawn match at home to Whitland, who scored 123-8 in reply to a Carew total of 150-7.

On Wednesday, May 26, Tenby Golf Club hosted the first GolfAbility Charity competition to be held at the club - to explain, this is in support of the Leonard Cheshire Disability which looks after the really severely disabled people, many disabled mentally through accident or at birth.
