Married at St. Issell’s Church, Saundersfoot, on June 23, were Mr. Llewellyn Andrew Rose and Miss Vanya Elizabeth Owen.
The groom, a gardener, is the son of Geraldine and Andrew Rose, of 16 Ash Park, Kilgetty, while the bride, a human resources executive, is the daughter of Carol and Geoffrey Owen, of Lanes End Lodge, Cresselly.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a designer ivory vintage lace halterneck wedding gown, crystal encrusted, drop waistline detail, with a trumpet skirt following into a chapel train.
Bridesmaids were Ceri Williams (bride’s best friend), Megan Owen (niece), Katie Roberts (niece), and Seren and Bethany Rose (bride and groom’s twin daughters). Ceri wore a French navy satin shift dress, while the other bridesmaids wore ivory gowns with vintage style lace and marabou feather shrugs.
Best men were Huw Oeppen and Jonathan Gold (groom’s best friends), while ushers were Morgan Roberts (nephew), Gene Hocking, James Hughes, Jason Duffy and Gavin Smith. Page boy was Evan Owen (nephew).
The service was conducted by Rev. Michael Butler, with music also being provided by harpist Joy Cornock.
The groom, a keen angler and member of Saundersfoot Angling Club, was treated to a surprise exit from the church through an arch of ‘rods of honour’ kindly co-ordinated by Tony Ormond.
The wedding reception was held at Beggar’s Reach Hotel, Burton.
The couple, who honeymooned in Cornwall, are making their home in Saundersfoot.
