White Horse Inn walkers team up for charity

By Observer Reporter in Charity

After last year’s success, customers and staff at the White Horse Inn, Kilgetty, are holding another sponsored walk to raise funds for the Harriet Davis Trust.

Organiser Dilwyn Davies said: “We really wanted to support a local charity and the Harriet Davis Trust is such a good cause. We know they need to keep all the houses updated so that disabled children and their families can have great holidays in Pembrokeshire.”

Dilwyn has signed up lots of local businesses to support the event and the walkers are busy collecting sponsorship from family and friends. The walk will start at the White Horse Inn at 1 pm on Sunday, August 27, and will go via Wiseman’s Bridge and Saundersfoot, back to Kilgetty.

If you’d like to join in, sponsor forms are available from landlord Anthony Phillips on (01834) 814519, or if you’d like to sponsor the team then you can do so online via http://mydonate.bt.com/events/whitehorseinnwalk2017/445963.
