Musical extravaganza at Manorbier Castle

By Observer Reporter in Events

The bands return to Manorbier Castle for another glorious night of live music on Saturday, May 27. The extravaganza will provide an evening of high class entertainment for all the family. This year’s event starts at 5 pm, as soon as the castle closes for the day.

So drop in for a snack and some entertainment on the way home from the beach; or come along later when the main bands come on-stage.

This year’s line-up includes: The Rin Tins - a Bristol based sextet who are delighting festival goers up and down the country with their energetic brand of folk fuelled gipsy jazz; The Railway Sleepers - an up and coming band with its own exciting brand of pickled gypsy swing; RazorBill - the definitive South Pembrokeshire folk band with a lively blend of Irish, American and Welsh folk melodies; and Leoni Eve - a local singer–songwriter with her own take on the popular classics.

There will be music for all the family to enjoy. You can get up and dance - or simply sit back and relax. Either way, it will be a musical extravaganza not to be missed!

Burgers and hot dogs, tea and cakes and a licensed bar will be available.

This is an outdoor event so please bring your own chairs and a blanket. Tickets will be available on the door: adults £8, families £20.

The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Pembroke and all the profits will be donated to the Ty Hafan Children’s hospice and to Rotary charities.

Once again, we would like to thank Dame Emily Naper for loaning her castle, which provides such a magnificent setting for this event.
