Tenby named second in emerging hotspots for Easter getaways by leading UK travel site

By Observer Reporter in Community News

According to recent statistics from holidaylettings.co.uk, the UK’s leading holiday rental website and a TripAdvisor company, Tenby has come in second on the list of top emerging hotspots in the UK for Easter getaways.

Saskia Welman, spokesperson for holidaylettings.co.uk, says the list shows holidaymakers are opting to spend their Easter break in picturesque beach locations ahead of bustling cities.

“Eight out of the top 10 destinations are on the coast, so it seems holidaymakers are craving a taste of the seaside ahead of the summer! Tenby’s charming harbour and beautiful St. Catherine’s Island by Castle Beach offer atmosphere and escapism for spring getaways.”

Many of the locations on Holiday Lettings’ list are traditionally popular spots in the summertime. But this most recent analysis shows low-season demand is increasing, too.

“More and more guests are choosing holiday homes over traditional hotels because of the space, facilities, privacy and incredible value they offer,” continues Saskia. “And as demand increases, owners are generating extra income by renting out their homes with us.”

Listing your home or spare room on TripAdvisor Rentals and Holiday Lettings is free, with owners paying just 3% commission on bookings.
