Regatta Sponsors renew for 2017
The club is pleased to announce that sponsorship for the 2017 Club Regatta has been secured again with local solicitors, Lewis Lewis & Co Ltd. Their generous support will enable the club to once again offer a cash prize for teams of five boats competing over the weekend. The club is most grateful for the continuing support. For all your legal needs, the sponsors can be contacted on 01994 231044.
Attention all youngsters over eight-years-old!
We run learning to sail sessions every Wednesday evening from 5 pm throughout the season from April to September for children aged eight years and over. You do not have to own a boat; the club has 30 sailing dinghies for members’ use, from Optimists to Lasers.
Come down to the Tenby clubhouse at the harbour to register either for the season or an initial month-long trial. Registration from 6 pm Wednesday, March 22, and Wednesday, March 29. Average weekly cost just £2.50. A parent/guardian must accompany the youngster for the registration.
We also encourage family members to join in the training sessions, either as helpers or even to learn to sail themselves.
If you need any further information contact Blake on 07717842713 or email Blake@pinewood9.wanadoo.co.uk. Or just turn up on Wednesday, March 22 or 29. First on the water session will be on Wednesday, April 5.
Come and try
The club will be taking part in the RYA ‘Push the Boat Out’ scheme again this year, offering anyone who wants a go at sailing to have a go in club boats with experienced helms. The event will be on Sunday, May 21.
